Florida’s Emerald Beauty

Florida’s Emerald Beauty

It is impossible to overstate how gorgeous the beaches are in the Gulf Coast, especially the Florida Gulf Coast. When you’re staying at Navarre Beach Camping Resort, you’ve got a front row ticket to the whitest sand and emerald beaches that’ll have you wondering if you’ve fallen into Oz.

You can spend your entire life here and never tire of the view that they provide. That’s not even to mention the things you can do when you’re visiting down here.

Destiny

Nearby Destin can be an interesting place to visit if you’ve a yearning to see something besides the ocean. Don’t get us wrong, the beach is there too. They may lay claim to have the whitest sand, but you’ll be hard pressed to see a difference between our beach and the beach at Destin.

The city has the nickname “The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village” and claims to have the largest fishing fleet in Florida. Destin took its name from Leonard Destin, a Connecticut fishing captain who settled there in the 19th century.

What to Do

You can of course, visit the beach there, but that seems like a lot of work for a slightly shifted view of the ocean. Perhaps the biggest draw in the HarborWalk Village where you can check out bungee trampolines, a mechanical Surfboard, the HarborWalk Mining Company and get some cotton candy.

Perhaps Big Kahuna’s Water and Adventure Park is more your speed. It offers 40 water attractions, three tropical mini golf courses, go-kart tracks, and more.
